Please find all the information attached. The Application Forms will be due in to us by end of May so we can process them and forward them to the Region ahead of the due date.
All cheques to be made out to Normanhurst Scout Group – we will be sending one combined cheque for all cubs and leaders from our treasurer to the region.
I would urge all cubs to attend as it is a wonderful scouting experience.

Dear All,
The following are some dates for Cub Events coming up so you can keep the day circled in your diary.
1. Cub Day at Benowie District Scout Easter Camp - Easter Sunday 12th April.
Each year the Benowie Scouts have an Open day for Cubs at Easter Camp.
Place: Crosslands – end of Somerset Rd Hornsby Hts (off Galston Rd).
The following is the program as I have been informed.
Arrive: between 10.15 and 10.30 am
Cub games, visit troops at 10.30
Lunch 11.30
Camp sports 12.45
Finish 3pm
Campfire 8pm Cubs can stay
2. Scouts Anzac March organised by Hornsby RSL - Sunday, 19th.
Time to be advised. Meet: Hornsby fire station on Pac. Hwy.
3. CUB BADGEWORK WORKSHOP AT THE HALL - Thursday, 23rd April
From 9.30 am to 2.30pm.
Cubs to bring their own morning tea, lunch and a drink bottle.
Casual clothes, wear scarf, comfortable shoes, bring hat and sunscreen.
We will be covering work on special skills for – knotting, mapping and grid work, compas work,
trail signs etc.
All cubs will be working independently at their own pace and finish their badgework.
This workshop is not for other badgework like entertainment, cooking, collectors or pets badge. We will
not be able to test cubs for individual Achievement badges on the day.
4. June Long weekend Normanhurst Scout group family camp. Please let us know if you are going.
