There are a few changes to the Cub Program for this term for a few reasons.
We will not be going to the Indoor Rock Climbing Centre this month on 29th June as originally planned as we could not make it on time, it was fully booked out. Instead we will be having a normal night at the hall.
This year our Cub Pack would instead like to organise an outing for cubs to the Gang Show. All Family is welcome. Full Details to follow soon.
We will be collecting the money for the show tickets ahead of time.
Please send the money in cash in an envelope marked to Zoe Reynolds to book your tickets.
Request:
Regulation does require that Cubs are to be in their proper cub uniform on monday nights. I will be emailing a detailed copy of what is correct on the uniform to all families as we leaders are being told to do.
If you have difficulty in obtaining a garment for your cub please let me know as there are other packs who have a clothing pool or may be from previous cubs from whom i may be able to obtain the right thing for your cub.
There is no official jacket with the uniform for cold weather, a dark coloured jacket is preferred. Cubs can wear it all night long even whilst on parade. If they do happen to have a bright coloured one or any other type then they will be allowed to wear it all night long but will be requested to take it off for a very short time whilst the flag ceremony is on.
The navy trouser is no more a part of the uniform. The colour of the trouser in the new uniform from the beginning of 2009 is light – beige, stone, or light brown.
Black or brown shoes are allowed, they may be sneakers.
